About the Role

Requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and minimum 2 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, lighting fixtures, power distribution panels, motors, pumps, and associated equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimize operational disruption
- Attend emergency maintenance situations, including power failures, fire alarms, and other urgent engineering related incidents
- Maintain accurate shift logs and complete all required maintenance documentation and records
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and systems when required
- Ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and well organized while carrying out maintenance activities
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures relating to Health & Safety, Fire & Life Safety, and Engineering operations
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver exceptional service and support hotel operations
- Remain flexible and assist with other engineering duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager or Team Leader
Requirements
- Diploma, Trade Certificate, ITI, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the hospitality, facilities management, or commercial building sector
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, troubleshooting, maintenance practices, and safety standards
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical manuals
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment

- Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai is seeking a skilled and service oriented Technician (Electrical) to join our Engineering team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and building equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and seamless experience for guests and colleagues.
