Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Technician cum Electrician specializing in ELV systems.
The role covers ELV and electrical installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair at various project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain ELV systems and related equipment.
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, repair, cable pulling, termination, dressing, labeling, and testing.
- Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and ELV schematics and troubleshoot system faults.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Assist with CCTV, access control, intercom, structured cabling, AV, public address, gate barrier, and other ELV systems.
- Complete work safely and according to project requirements and applicable standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials and coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and technicians.
- Follow company safety procedures and electrical and ELV standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in ELV and electrical works.
- A diploma, ITI, or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
- Good knowledge of ELV systems and basic electrical works.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and ELV schematics.
- Hands-on experience in installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500–3,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person at project sites.
