Technician, Blending and Maintenance-Memphis

The purpose of this job is to conduct blending operations and provide equipment maintenance at Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) blending plants.

Essential Functions 1. Responsible for daily DEF blending process and collection and submission of product samples 2. Perform light plant maintenance (e.g., greasing equipment, monitoring the water system, replacing equipment filters and resin beds, sweeping) to prevent equipment failure 3. Collaborate daily with the DEF Rail Movements Specialist to schedule rail car deliveries of DEF concentrate to plant(s) 4. Troubleshoot, with guidance from the Assistant Manager, equipment repairs for technical and mechanical issues; maintain inventory of replacement parts 5. Ensure all safety and operational procedures are followed at the blending site(s) 6. Recommend improvements for DEF plant operations and assist in implementing any operational changes at direction of manager 7. Travel to other DEF sites to conduct blending operations as needed 8. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level 9. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures 10. Complete other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent certificate required

Valid state driver’s license and positive driving history required

Minimum two years’ technical maintenance experience preferred

Basic Microsoft office skills preferred

Good technical skills and understanding of flow measurement equipment and systems

Ability to use hand tools to replace or repair pumps and other heavy equipment

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to manage time and work independently

Ability to work collaboratively with internal support teams to resolve issues

Travel up to 10%
