As part of our Engineering & Sustainment Services group, the Technician will thrive under pressure and excel in complex integration environments. You will be a vital part of our Test and Commissioning Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely solutions that impact the performance of critical naval platforms. This role offers unique opportunities for professional growth and requires individuals ready for challenging work both interstate and offshore.
Qualified Technician: Certificate III or relevant experience in an Engineering, Electronics, Networking or related fields. Licensing: Hold, or be eligible to apply/receive, relevant State licenses (e.g. Restricted Electrical Licensed). Domain Knowledge: Relevant understanding, knowledge, and experience specific to engineering systems, assemblies, platforms, and services, with preference in one or more of the following capabilities:
Underwater Sensors and Systems
Communications Systems
Above Water Sensors Systems
Combat Management Systems
Naval Weapons Systems
Navigation Systems
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role.
