The Technical Writer / Training Specialist / Technical Support Specialist provides mid-level technical writing, documentation, training development, and organizational support to Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Installations and Logistics (I&L), and the Global Positioning Network (GPN) Program.
Working in a hybrid environment supporting the Pentagon, the position develops recurring reports, transition documentation, training materials, meeting products, and technical deliverables that support program execution, organizational continuity, and knowledge transfer.
The position prepares monthly program reports, executive presentations, agendas, meeting minutes, action-item trackers, transition plans, training curricula, user guides, and standard operating procedures supporting Government personnel and contractor teams.
Working closely with the Program Manager, Senior Analysts, and Government stakeholders, the Technical Writer ensures documentation is accurate, professionally formatted, technically consistent, and delivered in accordance with program schedules and Marine Corps standards.
The position also supports organizational capacity-building initiatives through development of instructional materials, knowledge-transfer documentation, and technical reference products that facilitate successful onboarding, transition activities, and long-term program sustainment.
