Role Overview
CACI is hiring a Technical Writer II for an enterprise IT engineering, operations, and technology refresh contract supporting an Intelligence Community customer.
The role supports global agency capabilities through technical documentation, engineering artifacts, and coordination with customer and government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Create how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, instructions, installation guides, and configuration documentation.
- Translate customer functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Support engineering teams with documentation for system components and engineering artifacts.
- Lead technical writing tasks and act as the primary government liaison for contract coordination and task execution.
- Own the program’s technical documentation process, including work produced by technical writers under management.
- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain software, systems engineering, operations, testing, and user documentation.
- Use documentation tools to create templates and produce output in multiple media.
- Explain scientific and technical ideas in clear, simple language.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
