Primary Function
- Deliver technical operator and service training to customers, distributors and company service personnel on a wide variety of Rapiscan products and technology.
- Training consists of both formal classroom and hands on training.
- Based in Cairo Egypt with focus on training in Egypt at multiple locations; also required to assist with additional training assignments globally.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain the appropriate knowledge of the various Rapiscan products and technology to ensure high quality knowledge transfer to students.
- Review and provide edits / updates on user manuals, training presentations and other related documentation.
- Maintain appropriate training records, student feedback and required administrative information.
- Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
- Project management and presentation skills and the ability to resolve complex problems and issues.
- Provide continuous feedback on areas of improvement, customer requests and observations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years delivering technical training in a formal classroom and hands on venue
- Fluent in Arabic and English language
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to demonstrate effective hands on learning
- Position requires the ability to travel globally to conduct training and obtain knowledge of products
- Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with different time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet business needs; 15%
- Domestic travel required: 5%
- Must travel internationally and be able to acquire all necessary travel documents
