Role Overview
Provide technical assistance to end users across multiple locations.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues while maintaining IT systems and minimizing user downtime.
Location
- Remote work from anywhere.
Compensation
- Contract role paying $30-$55 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support by phone, email, or chat for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve problems involving operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Escalate complex issues and track and document resolution progress.
- Manage user accounts, including password resets and access provisioning.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and support software license compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in computer user support or a help desk role.
- Proficiency troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems and common software applications.
