Technical Support & Application Engineer - Emergency Lighting (Middle East)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for emergency lighting products and solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations for customers and partners.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, including manuals, guides, and FAQs.
• Monitor industry trends, product developments, and emerging emergency-lighting technologies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards for emergency lighting systems.
• Provide product-development feedback based on customer interactions and technical issues.

Qualifications and skills

• Graduate engineering degree, ideally in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least seven years of techno-commercial experience with extensive emergency-lighting systems and applications knowledge.
• Technical knowledge of emergency lighting or safety systems is required.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Dialux lighting design software.
• Experience with troubleshooting, testing and commissioning, and site management.
• Fire alarm system experience is a strong plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, plus electrical products instrumentation knowledge.
