Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for a Technical Superintendent.
The Technical Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of vessels under their care.
Specific tasks include monitoring vessel performance, planning and coordinating maintenance, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and providing technical support to resolve operational issues.
This role will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure optimal vessel performance and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Ship Management and Maritime operations
- Experience in conducting vessel Inspection and ensuring compliance
- Expertise in Marine Engineering and technical support for vessel maintenance
- Preferably previous sailing experience and familiarity with shipboard operations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance within the maritime industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Marine Engineer Officer Certificate) will be an advantage
