PLATFORMS LLC is seeking a Technical Specialist to provide technical support for industrial equipment including aerial work platforms, spider lifts, cranes, tele-handlers, forklifts, and power generators.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for equipment portfolio including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of aerial work platforms, spider lifts, spider cranes, tele handlers, forklifts, and power generators
- Diagnose equipment issues, perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Interact with customers to understand technical needs, offer guidance on proper equipment use, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex issues
- Document service activities, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose equipment issues and evaluate technical data
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors
- Solid troubleshooting abilities to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implement solutions
- Technical support experience to provide guidance on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Customer service skills to handle inquiries, manage expectations, and ensure positive service experience
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred
- Experience working with lifting equipment, material handling systems, or power generators is an advantage
- Ability to work safely on site, sometimes in outdoor or industrial environments
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for service reporting and documentation
