Role Description
Full-time remote role responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing software and project releases within IEEE BU SB initiatives.
The role aligns cross-functional teams and ensures deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage release schedules and coordinate development, testing, and program management teams.
- Track release progress, configuration, versions, risks, and dependencies.
- Maintain release documentation and support continuous process improvement.
- Help enforce best practices that improve reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong release management and configuration management skills are required.
- Solid program management and analytical skills are required.
- Foundational software development skills are required to understand technical workflows.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are required for remote stakeholder work.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to process improvement and quality assurance are required.
- Experience with version control systems, issue trackers, or CI/CD platforms is beneficial.
- A background in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
