Role Objective
Axalta is seeking a Technical Service Officer to support industrial OEM customers, especially farm equipment manufacturers.
The role provides technical expertise for coatings development, application, processing techniques, and resolution of complex online problems.
The position supports new product establishment and coordinates with Technology, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and other business units.
Essential Functions
- Develop customer relationships and provide technical service to key OEM accounts.
- Implement, monitor, and coordinate OEM-related projects.
- Conduct customer-line trials and establish new products with the Technology team.
- Obtain new product approvals at OEM customers.
- Monitor and report sales, paint consumption, and training data.
- Implement and standardize processes on customer lines.
- Organize training and audits at Tier-1 OEM vendors.
- Troubleshoot product and color issues and develop standard operating processes.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology, or postgraduate study in Chemistry.
