Art Of Energi seeks an Electrical Engineer with 1+ years of UAE experience for EV charging stations and marine utility pedestals. The role combines office design work (AutoCAD, load schedules, BOQs) with hands-on installation, cabling, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Design electrical layouts and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) using AutoCAD
- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and determine total connected load/maximum demand
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material estimates
- Write and compile Material Technical Submittals and Method Statements for client/consultant approvals
- Perform the actual, physical installation and wiring of AC/DC EV chargers and marine pedestals
- Handle cable laying, glanding, termination, and connection to low voltage (LV) distribution boards
- Test and commission the equipment to ensure safe operations according to UAE utility standards
- Lead and work alongside a small team of technicians for larger installations when required
- Personally diagnose and repair electrical faults, connectivity issues, or ground faults in EV chargers and marine systems
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on marine pedestals (ensuring waterproofing and IP rated weather protection compliance)
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of active electrical field experience in the UAE
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Excel
- Practical, hands on tools experience (glanding, termination, testing tools, multi meters)
- Strong knowledge of low voltage distribution, grounding, and IP rated weatherproof protections
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory
- Strong written English to independently prepare professional technical documentation

Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of active electrical field experience in the UAE. Direct experience with EV charging installations or marine/dock infrastructure is a massive plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
