Role Overview
Quest Defense Systems & Solutions is seeking a Technical Scrum Master and Embedded Software Lead for an advanced avionics computing platform.
The platform integrates aircraft data interfaces, communication protocols, video devices, hardware drivers, and embedded software across multiple platforms.
The position combines Agile team leadership with hands-on embedded software development in C and Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team coordination.
- Manage the JIRA backlog and communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and team status.
- Partner with technical leads and stakeholders to establish priorities and support timely delivery.
- Design and implement an embedded I/O framework for multiple protocols and data interfaces.
- Develop and test avionics software using C and Python.
- Define data dictionaries, interface specifications, and technical requirements.
- Maintain high- and low-level requirements with full traceability.
- Contribute to scalable, reusable, and maintainable software architecture.
