Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative for an industrial aftermarket business in Dubai.
The role combines technical sales, new-business development, industrial maintenance knowledge, and distributor management.
The position works with industrial end-users, especially Maintenance, Technical, and Purchasing teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop new industrial customers and identify business opportunities.
- Build and execute an end-user prospecting plan.
- Visit customers and understand technical and maintenance requirements.
- Promote, demonstrate, and test mechanical and industrial products.
- Convert opportunities into orders and achieve annual sales targets.
- Develop distributor relationships and provide training and technical support.
- Negotiate commercial opportunities and coordinate orders, deliveries, and payment topics.
- Maintain CRM information and monitor competitors, applications, and market developments.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Travel regularly within the Middle East region.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in technical sales, industrial aftermarket, mechanical maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, materials, and/or industrial maintenance.
- Experience with industrial end-users and/or distributors.
- Proven prospecting and new-business development ability.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
- CRM and Microsoft Office experience.
- Technical education in mechanical engineering, maintenance, materials, or a related discipline.
- Fluent Arabic and fluent English are mandatory.
- French is advantageous but not required.
Package and Benefits
- Base salary is approximately €71,000 equivalent, paid in AED.
- Annual bonus may reach 20% of base salary.
- Housing allowance is approximately €22,500 equivalent annually.
- Potential total cash package is approximately €107,700 equivalent including maximum bonus and housing.
- Benefits include a company car, covered fuel and toll expenses, health insurance, laptop, mobile phone, and business travel expenses.
- UAE employment visa sponsorship and family sponsorship support are available according to UAE regulations.
Work Arrangement
- The role is field-based and requires regular regional travel.
- Up to two remote days per week may be available after six months.
- Candidates currently outside the UAE may apply, with visa and residence procedure support available.
