Responsibilities
- Visit steel/cement plants, factories, and industrial clients regularly to build strong relationships with procurement, maintenance, and technical teams.
- Understand client pain points, operational challenges, and requirements to position the company as a solution provider.
- Convince clients to purchase from the company by highlighting industry knowledge, technical understanding, and value added solutions.
- Identify opportunities where clients are facing issues (breakdowns, inefficiencies, high costs) and propose suitable equipment or alternatives.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with clients.
- Ensure correct product selection based on client application and requirement.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to client site or warehouse.
- Handle client complaints, technical concerns, and after sales support professionally.
- Maintain strong long term relationships to secure repeat business.
- Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and pricing in the industries.
- Submit daily/weekly reports on client visits, inquiries, orders, and business development activities.
Requirements
- Experience in technical sales within industrial sectors (steel, cement, heavy industries)
- Ability to visit client sites regularly
- Strong understanding of client operational challenges
- Proven track record of converting inquiries into orders
