About Molequant

The Role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer based in Doha to be our first boots-on-the-ground sales hire in Qatar.

You won't just be selling software; you will be talking to R&D Directors and CTOs at Qatar’s largest manufacturers about the future of materials science.

This is a "Zero-to-One" role.

You will be responsible for identifying leads, running technical demonstrations of our AI Trust Engine, and converting our pipeline into signed Pilot Agreements and LOIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Execution: Take ownership of our existing Qatar pipeline and initiate high-level technical conversations.
  • Technical Demos: Present the MoleQuant platform to R&D teams, explaining how our validation layer eliminates failed lab tests.
  • Client Discovery: Deep-dive into the formulation pain points of construction chemical, coating, and industrial chemical manufacturers in Qatar.
  • Deal Closing: Manage the sales cycle from first contact to signed LOI/Pilot Agreement/Subscriptions
  • Market Feedback: Work closely with our founding team to relay Qatar-specific technical requirements (QCS compliance, etc.) back to product development.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering

  • , or a related technical field.
  • Experience:
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical sales
  • , business development, or a customer-facing R&D role within the chemicals or manufacturing industry.
  • Communication: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken). Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
