We are seeking a
Senior Sales Engineer – Automation
with a strong technical background in
industrial automation systems
, primarily focused on Honeywell
Modular Systems
and complementary exposure to **Siemens technologies.
This role is predominantly centered on
automation engineering and technical sales (approx. 80%)
, with a
supporting understanding of electrification and low-voltage systems (approx. 20%)
.
Based in the
Uae
and covering the
GCC and regional markets
, you will be responsible for driving automation solutions across key industries such as
oil & gas, process industries, and industrial manufacturing
.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in control systems with strong commercial and client-facing capabilities.
Automation-Focused Responsibilities (Primary Role)
- Drive technical sales and business development for
Honeywell Modular Systems
- (e.g., DCS, PLC, Safety Systems, SCADA platforms).
- Identify and develop new opportunities in
- process automation, control systems, and digitalization
- across GCC markets.
- Provide
- technical consultation and solution design
- based on customer requirements, focusing on automation architecture and system integration.
- Engage with
- end-users, EPC contractors, and system integrators
- to position automation solutions at early project stages (FEED, design, and execution).
- Prepare and deliver
- technical proposals, system architectures, and solution presentations
- .
- Support tendering activities, including
- technical compliance, system sizing, and configuration
- .
- Conduct
- product demonstrations, workshops, and technical training sessions
- for clients.
Supporting Responsibilities (Electrification – Secondary Role)
- Maintain basic technical understanding of
- low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) systems
- , including switchgear and drives.
- Coordinate with internal teams for integrated
- automation + electrification solutions
- when required.
Requirements
- **Education**
- : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Control, or related Engineering field.
- **Experience**
- :
- Minimum 5
- –7 years
- in
- automation engineering, technical sales, or business development
- .
- Proven experience in
- process control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA)
- is essential.
- **Technical Expertise**
- :
- Strong hands-on or sales experience with
Honeywell Modular Systems
- (preferred).
- Familiarity with
- Siemens automation portfolio
- is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of
- control systems architecture, field instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols

- Basic knowledge of
