What You'Ll Do
As a Technical Sales Associate, you will play a key role in supporting customers and ensuring the smooth execution of sales activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sales & Customer Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional support.
Assist with preparing quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation.
Support inside sales activities including quote generation, order entry, order acknowledgments, and customer follow-up.
Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales activity records within CRM and ERP systems.
Order & Process Management
Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment and delivery schedules.
Track customer opportunities and support sales pipeline management activities.
Ensure sales documentation and records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
Technical & Commercial Development
Develop knowledge of X-ray products, applications, and target markets.
Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to understand product capabilities and customer requirements.
Assist in identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts.
Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, and sales activities while progressively taking ownership of opportunities.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
1-3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, technical sales, or a related business environment preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using CRM systems and ERP/business management software.
Exposure to technical products, manufacturing environments, or industrial technologies.
Experience
working with data, metrics, and reporting to support business decisions.

Physical Requirements
Primarily office-based work using standard office equipment and computer systems.
Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
Occasionally lift or carry materials up to 25 pounds.
Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits, trade shows, training, and company meetings.
Compensation
In accordance with California law, the expected salary for this full-time, benefited position is between $65,000 - $75,000.
The actual compensation will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience and other factors permitted by law.
