Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Sales Specialist to develop new sales opportunities with the necessary technical skills to support the preparation of quotations, technical submittals, and value engineering proposals.
The ideal candidate will possess a technical sales background and work closely with the manager to ensure the growth of the business
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, identifying new customers and projects and proactively visiting sites and companies to identify potential key contacts.
- Facilitate clear communication with customers and support them to ensure all have a clear understanding of project specifications and requirements.
- Quotation Management:
- Prepare and manage accurate quotations for projects, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for quotations.
- Technical Submittals:
- Create and submit detailed technical documentation for projects, including specifications, drawings, and compliance reports.
- Ensure all technical submissions align with client requirements and industry standards.
- Value Engineering:
- Propose value engineering solutions to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze project specifications to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Document Preparation Support
- Assist the Manager in preparing various documents related to project proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain organized records of all documentation for easy access and reference.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance to internal teams and clients as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to clarify technical aspects of projects.
Qualification & Experience
- · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
- · 2+ years of experience in a Technical Sales role.
- · Strong knowledge of industry standards and technical documentation.
- Experience in Selling within Saudi Arabia to the construction sector
- Special Skills, if any:
- · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and any relevant software for documentation and design.
- · Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers.
- · Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to use own initiative to develop new sales opportunities and to solve problems
