About the Role
D3 Security is hiring a Technical Project Manager for the Greater Vancouver Area (in-office). You will manage software implementation projects for Fortune 500 clients, facilitate requirements gathering, and act as a liaison between business and technology teams.

Responsibilities
- Manage medium to high complexity software implementation projects from inception to completion
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions using interviews, document analysis, workshops, etc.
- Collaborate with developers to establish technical vision and analyze trade offs
- Communicate with project sponsors, senior management, and consultants regarding project status
- Monitor and control project activities, issues, change requests, risks, and quality of deliverables
Requirements
- Three or more years of project management experience, preferably in IT Infrastructure or IT Security
- Ability to manage ten or more projects simultaneously
- PMP certification is an asset
- Strong understanding of IT Security Technology (Networking, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) is an asset

What will you be doing?
- Learn software with cutting edge technology and work with a dynamic team
- Manage medium to high complexity software implementation projects for Fortune 500 clients
- Facilitate gathering, validating, and managing requirements
Business Analysis
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions using interviews, document analysis, workshops, etc.
- Critically evaluate information from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
- Proactively communicate with customers to analyze information needs and deliver project artifacts
- Collaborate with developers to establish technical vision and analyze trade offs
- Be the liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams
- Lead verification and management of requirements throughout the project
Project Management
- Direct and manage all project phases from inception to completion
- Assemble and coordinate project team members, assign individual responsibilities
- Monitor and control project activities, issues, change requests, risks, and quality
- Plan and oversee preparation and dissemination of project communications
- Communicate with project sponsors, senior management, and consultants
- Manage multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously
What you'll bring to the table...
- Three or more years of project management experience, preferably in IT Infrastructure or IT Security
- PMP certification is an asset
- Ability to manage ten or more projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated PM competencies: budget, timeline, scope, risk management, team building
- Strong technology understanding and IT Security Technology knowledge is an asset
