Job Summary
The CWP Technical Project Manager supports the Welded Products Manager with engineering project planning, technical coordination, execution, tracking, and closeout.
The role coordinates engineering, production, quality, purchasing, suppliers, and customers to complete milestones, technical deliverables, validation activities, and controlled documentation on time.
Final technical approval remains with the appropriate engineering, quality, or functional authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project priorities, scope, deliverables, timelines, resource needs, and execution plans.
- Lead engineering projects for custom welded assemblies, burst plugs, and related pressure relief products from concept review through production readiness.
- Maintain project plans, milestone schedules, action trackers, risk analyses, meeting notes, and decision logs.
- Coordinate technical inputs, drawing reviews, test requirements, supplier information, customer feedback, and internal approvals.
- Facilitate APQP, validation, manufacturing, and customer-required documentation through controlled release.
- Coordinate welding qualifications, test scheduling, certification scope, and customer or standard-specific requirements.
- Lead project reviews, communicate status, document decisions, follow up on actions, and escalate issues.
