Technical Program Manager III, Workspace Monetization, Google Workspace

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level business goals into actionable technical roadmaps and engineering requirements while understanding the complexities of building AI powered features for new and scaled products.
• Drive high-impact monetization projects from requirements through launch, including defining requirements, identifying dependencies, managing project schedules, and performing risk management.
• Partner with engineering to evaluate system architectures for billing, quota management, and API tiering to ensure they meet Workspace's scale and latency requirements. Identify trends and themes among project and team issues, and drive root-cause analysis with the engineering, product, and UX teams.
• Address the challenges of scope creep, shifting priorities, and delayed timelines while maintaining a clear focus on delivering results.
• Build relationships and manage complex dependencies across Workspace product teams and internal/external partners.

• Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in program management. - Experience managing the end-to-end delivery and technical strategy for mobile and web applications, ensuring architectural alignment across. - Experience in software development workflows, including code review and automated testing. - Experience defining and tracking quality metrics for automated systems. Preferred qualifications: - 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. - Experience defining project scope, managing multiple stakeholders, and successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. - Experience with software development project management. - Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing priorities and ambiguity within a fast-paced team environment. - Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills.
