Technical Program Manager II, Infrastructure, Global Networking

Responsibilities

• Review and thoroughly understand Google's network architecture standards.
• Communicate with internal business owners to collect drivers and deadlines for delivering colocation space and associated infrastructure.
• Design spaces that meet today's needs along with maintain flexibility for the future.
• Evaluate data center facilities to ensure they meet internal reliability requirements.
• Create high-level project plans that identify resource needs and critical paths.

• Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in program management. - Experience with infrastructure engineering teams, service performance, or quality. - Experience with infrastructure projects (e.g., across software, hardware, data center, or networking). Preferred qualifications: - Experience working on evaluating data center infrastructure and designing cages and associated infrastructure. - Practical experience managing large-scale projects in a matrixed environment.
