Technical Program Manager II

This team is on a mission to build and operate the world's most performant, efficient, and reliable global platform. This team leads complex technical programs for global hardware stability, that advances Akamai's Cloud Computing Technology. This group is at the forefront of the server industry, taking immediate action to evaluate and integrate cutting-edge hardware innovations into our edge footprint.

In this role, you will lead the cross-functional alignment of the entire program lifecycle, guiding multidisciplinary teams to successful delivery. Operating within a dynamic matrix environment, you will bridge engineering and operations to ensure complex server hardware initiatives are executed with high reliability and performance.

As a Technology Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:

Supporting cross-functional teams and providing subject matter expertise in planning and execution of multiple projects and programs

Fostering effective communication and maintaining meticulous documentation

Reporting on program status, areas of risk/opportunity, process dependencies and success metrics to senior internal stakeholders

Engaging regularly with key collaborators, effectively communicating progress, to evaluate and identify business risks, understand priorities and propose solutions

Maintaining and nurturing relationships with internal engineering teams, focusing on server hardware components

To be successful in this role you will:

Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent

Have desire to learn technical skills within server hardware scope
