About ZS2 Technologies
ZS2 develops magnesium cement technology and sustainable building materials for a more resilient, lower-carbon built environment.
The company is based in Calgary and is scaling its technology through projects and partnerships across North America.
Product Positioning and Claims
- Translate R&D outputs, testing data, and performance characteristics into product definitions, use cases, and constraints.
- Develop product value propositions and differentiation frameworks grounded in technical truth.
- Define competitive context and responsible claim boundaries for each product.
Marketing and Content Support
- Translate R&D, testing, and certification data into content and technical pages for architect- and engineer-facing audiences.
- Provide technical support to Marketing during content development and ensure accuracy.
Testing and Documentation
- Review testing and certification documentation for technical accuracy before it informs external claims.
- Flag gaps, limitations, or unsupported claims before they reach external materials.
- Author spec sheets, data sheets, comparison matrices, and technical summaries.
- Maintain workflows for documentation, version control, approvals, and updates.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in product communications, product marketing, technical writing, or a related technical role.
- Experience bridging strategic positioning with hands-on documentation work.
- Strong technical written communication, professional judgment, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in person in Calgary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, prefab, manufacturing, or another technical or industrial sector.
- Experience in Product Management and comfort with shared digital tools or basic CRM workflows.
- Interest in climate resilience, sustainability, or the built environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- The position pays $70,000–$90,000 per year.
- Benefits include health and dental care, paid time off, stock options, company events, food benefits, and on-site parking.

- This is a full-time, permanent position located in Calgary, Alberta.
- Work location is in person.
