Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize product features based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives
- Gather and document detailed requirements for new products or enhancements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop product roadmaps, ensuring adherence to SDLC processes such as Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and TFS workflows
- Lead cross functional teams through product development cycles, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment
- Manage product backlogs using tools like Jira and Git; track progress and resolve impediments efficiently
- Develop comprehensive test cases to validate functionality and performance of mobile applications, APIs, and SaaS platforms
- Analyze product performance using analytics tools; generate reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for stakeholder updates
- Coordinate with sales teams on B2B sales strategies and support integration efforts involving APIs, databases (SQL), HTML interfaces, and IoT devices
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies such as AWS cloud services, Java development environments, and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms to inform product innovation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for security, data privacy, and usability throughout the SDLC process
- Provide leadership in product management best practices; mentor team members on Agile methodologies and analysis skills
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure clarity of project scope, timelines, and deliverables
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management within a technology driven environment; software development experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, SDLC, and project management tools like Jira and TFS
- Technical proficiency with Azure, APIs, Databases (SQL), HTML, Java, Python, Git, Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working on mobile applications, SaaS platforms, IoT solutions, and integrating APIs for B2B sales channels
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to gather requirements effectively from diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
