Role Overview

The Technical Product Analyst supports product delivery within Clinical Operations.

The role translates business needs into requirements, user stories, process documentation, and reporting insights for digital products.

The position works with Product Owners, stakeholders, engineers, testers, and business partners to support compliant delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into actionable backlog items.
  • Define business and functional requirements with Clinical Operations stakeholders and the Product Owner.
  • Maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, visualizations, process flows, and backlog documentation.
  • Support backlog refinement and sprint readiness.
  • Clarify requirements with developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
  • Support user acceptance testing, feedback coordination, and release quality.
  • Document business processes for development, support, harmonization, and improvement.
  • Track product and process metrics and prepare reports.
  • Manage dependencies and communicate impacts across squads and related teams.
  • Maintain compliance, SDLC, system, and quality documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, health sciences, information systems, computer science, data analytics, engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, digital product delivery, internships, or relevant project-based work.
  • Understanding of requirements gathering, user stories, functional requirements, or backlog items.
  • Foundational understanding of business processes, digital product delivery, and agile ways of working.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Interest in user needs, process improvement, reporting, metrics, and digital solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Clinical Operations processes, regulated environments, or clinical systems.
  • Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, backlog management, sprint planning, or user story development.
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards, Excel, Power BI, or product metrics.
  • Familiarity with process mapping, testing support, compliance documentation, user experience, or healthcare and life sciences product delivery.
