Technical Operator, Mixing

Key Responsibilities

• Embody and promote company’s core values (Integrity, Growth and Resilience).
• Run cheese mixing equipment according to the daily production schedule and product specifications.
• Accurately complete production records, batch paperwork, and quality documentation throughout the shift.
• Perform Critical Control Point (CCP) checks and record results to ensure food safety and quality requirements are met.
• Assist with the setup, changeovers, and shutdown of mixing equipment.
• Clean utensils, equipment, and work areas at the end of production to prepare for the sanitation team.
• Follow HACCP, GMP, food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, ingredient shortages, and other operational updates to Supervisors, Lead Hands, and team members.
• Work closely with portioning and downstream production teams to ensure a continuous flow of product and prevent production delays.
• Monitor production pace and keep ahead of portioning requirements to ensure product is available when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, or waste reduction and share recommendations with leadership.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing debris, identifying hazards, and following safe work practices.
• Safely handle ingredients and materials weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
• Physically capable of standing for long periods, working in varying temperatures and humidity levels, and lifting (up to 25kgs), pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational requirements.
