The Opportunity

  • SoftBank Robotics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Leader to support expansion across UAE and Saudi Arabia.
  • This is a strategic and hands on leadership role requiring technical expertise, customer engagement, product management, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Customer Success

  • Act as the primary technical authority for SoftBank Robotics solutions across the UAE and KSA.
  • Partner with regional leadership to align technology deployment strategies with customer objectives.
  • Support the sales organization through technical presentations, solution design, demonstrations, and customer workshops.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Product Management & Market Development

  • Develop and execute regional product introduction and market readiness plans.
  • Collaborate with global product, engineering, and support teams for successful product launches.
  • Provide structured market feedback to influence product development and roadmap priorities.
  • Identify market opportunities and emerging customer requirements to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities Innovation, Deployment & Project Delivery

  • Lead the deployment of robotics, automation, and digital transformation solutions across customer sites.
  • Manage Proof of Concept (PoC) projects from planning through execution and customer acceptance.
  • Conduct technical qualification and validation activities for new products prior to commercial launch.
  • Ensure successful transition from pilot deployments to scaled customer rollouts.

Key Responsibilities Aftermarket & Technical Support Excellence

  • Lead root cause investigations for critical customer and product issues.
  • Coordinate with global engineering, product management, and support teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Establish and continuously improve regional support and aftermarket processes.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive issue management and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities Performance Management & Reporting

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for deployments, customer success, service quality, and operational performance.
  • Deliver regular business and technical performance reports to regional and global leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience Required Experience

  • 4–5 years of experience in technical leadership, technical sales, field engineering, product management, or customer success roles.
  • Proven experience in robotics, automation, industrial technology, IoT, digital transformation, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess technical issues quickly and implement practical, customer focused solutions.
  • Experience managing customer facing technical projects from concept through deployment and support.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Experience working in fast paced, growth oriented environments.

Qualifications & Experience Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of robotics, automation systems, software platforms, and connected technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across cross functional and multicultural teams.
  • Technical degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline preferred.
