Technical Leadership and Architecture
- Define and own system design, architecture, and technology choices for scalable, resilient platforms.
- Drive adoption of microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native patterns.
- Ensure systems meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
AI-Led Development and Team Guidance
- Champion AI-first engineering through AI-led development workflows, AI copilots, and SDLC automation.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML into product features and engineering processes.
- Mentor engineers in backend, frontend, and full-stack development.
- Review code, designs, and solutions for scalability, performance, security, and best practices.
- Promote DevOps, CI/CD, and testing practices across teams.
Cloud and Infrastructure
- Guide the use of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
- Oversee deployment pipelines and ensure smooth release management.
Security and Governance
- Enforce secure coding practices, data privacy, and compliance standards.
- Anticipate risks and establish monitoring and observability frameworks.
Collaboration and Delivery
- Work with project managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to align technology with business outcomes.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience leading full-stack teams.
- Backend expertise in Java, Python, or Node.js, including REST or GraphQL APIs and microservices.
- Frontend expertise in a TypeScript framework, React.js, Flutter, or a comparable listed frontend technology.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, distributed systems, and design patterns.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments and DevOps practices.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with AI/ML applications and the ability to embed AI-led practices in engineering.
- Strong focus on application security, data protection, and governance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and align with stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, or graph databases.
- Prior involvement in building AI-enabled products or applying AI in developer workflows.
