Education & Qualifications
- 🎓 Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 🏅 Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng).
- 🌟 Personal Attributes
- 💬 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 🎯 A strong focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- 🏗️ Ability to oversee and manage large, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Skills & Experience
- 👥 Demonstrable experience (2+ years) managing and delivering engineering projects, including leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- 📋 Knowledge of, and experience in, delivering projects using a Systems Engineering approach, particularly in Requirements Capture, Validation, and Verification.
- 🏗️ Experience managing engineering scope across infrastructure projects from Concept Design through Detailed Design and Installation.
- 🤝 Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and organisations.
- 🛡️ Experience within the Nuclear and/or Defence industry.
- ⚖️ Knowledge and application of current legislation and regulations, including CDM Regulations, Machinery Directive, and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
- ✅ Experience working within Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Business Management Systems (BMS).
- 📑 Experience with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts is advantageous but not essential.
