Digital Next UAE is seeking a Technical Lead for a large-scale government digital transformation programme in Abu Dhabi.

The role owns day-to-day technical delivery of an enterprise digital experience platform supporting a large portfolio of government websites.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role rather than a project management position.

Lead enterprise solutions based on Liferay DXP and Microsoft Azure.
Translate architecture and business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
Lead and mentor developers across parallel delivery workstreams.
Review designs, code, integrations, and technical deliverables.
Guide Liferay sites, components, templates, content structures, workflows, permissions, APIs, extensions, and integrations.
Lead Java backend development, modern frontend delivery, REST integrations, CI/CD, Git, deployment, monitoring, and release readiness.
Support Elasticsearch and search architecture, performance optimization, troubleshooting, security, scalability, and high availability.
Work with solution architects, UX, cybersecurity, DevOps, project management, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Communicate technical recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
