Responsibilities
- Translate design concepts into precise, buildable technical solutions
- Develop detailed drawings and technical specifications
- Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with codes and standards
- Review structural and MEP requirements, validate materials and finishes, prepare shop drawings
- Resolve technical issues during construction and installation
- Monitor site progress, conduct inspections to confirm design compliance, and update documentation to reflect changes
- Prepare BOQs, shop drawings, and quotations
- Address technical challenges on the design
Requirements
- Strong technical design skills including proficiency in CAD and BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Skills in interior engineering and construction, including knowledge of materials and finishes, joinery and fit out details, and integration with structural and MEP systems
- Project coordination skills including collaboration with designers, contractors, and suppliers, managing technical documentation, and supporting timelines and budgets
- Quality and compliance skills including familiarity with local building codes and regulations, safety standards, and best practices for luxury commercial and residential interiors
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or closely related field preferred
- Prior experience in interior fit out or design build environments
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC
- Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage

Role Description
- The Technical Interior Engineer is a full time, on site role based in Riyadh, responsible for translating design concepts into precise, buildable technical solutions.
- Developing detailed drawings and technical specifications, coordinating with interior designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with codes and standards.
- Reviewing structural and MEP requirements, validating materials and finishes, preparing shop drawings, and resolving technical issues during construction and installation.
- Monitoring site progress, conducting inspections to confirm design compliance, and updating documentation to reflect changes.
- Supporting smooth project execution by bridging design intent with practical implementation and ensuring quality and safety across all phases of delivery.
