Role Overview
Lead the technical function across solar projects, including design, BOQ preparation, estimation, tendering, project execution, quality control, and commissioning.
Guide technical and site teams and support practical solar plant design, documentation, and government tender processes.
Solar Design and Engineering
- Prepare and review solar plant designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Review single-line diagrams, layout drawings, module layouts, electrical drawings, and structural designs.
- Review site survey reports and provide technical feasibility inputs.
- Coordinate design modifications and approvals with design and project teams.
BOQ and Estimation
- Prepare and verify detailed BOQs for solar projects.
- Determine quantities and specifications for modules, inverters, structures, cables, earthing, protection systems, and other balance-of-system components.
- Review project costing and technical specifications.
- Evaluate vendor quotations from technical and commercial perspectives.
