Job Summary
We are hiring a Technical English Instructor specialized in
naval/maritime electrical systems
to deliver a targeted English course to Arabic-speaking trainees.
The goal is to improve technical communication and terminology use in electrical operations, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an Electrical Systems Technical English course aligned with operational requirements.
- Tailor materials for Arabic-speaking personnel while maintaining technical precision.
- Run interactive exercises (fault reporting, safety communication, procedures, toolbox talks).
- Evaluate learners (pre/post) and provide progress tracking.
- Provide post-training feedback summary and recommendations.
Technical English Vocabulary And Communication Related To
- Power generation and distribution
- Electrical circuits, controls, and equipment
- Operational/safety communication, incident reporting
Deliverables (Mandatory)
- Course syllabus and learning objectives
- Custom training materials + terminology glossary
- Exercises + assessments
- Pre- and post-course evaluations
- Attendance records + certificates
- Materials ready for review/approval 2 months prior to start
Candidate Requirements
- ESP/Technical English training experience with adult professionals.
- Strong familiarity with electrical systems terminology (marine/naval preferred).
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-native English speakers.
