Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities on robotic systems and automated production equipment.
Troubleshoot and rectify faults in industrial robots, controllers, end-effectors, welding systems, grippers, and peripheral devices.
Ensure optimum performance and uptime of robotic welding, assembly, machine tending, and material handling applications.
Carry out robot calibration, Tool Center Point (TCP) adjustments, payload configuration, and accuracy validation activities.
Diagnose and resolve robot-to-CNC communication issues, including I/O interfacing, signal synchronization, and process coordination.
Support robot program modifications, process optimization, and cycle-time improvement initiatives.
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC-controlled automation systems, HMIs, sensors, safety circuits, and motion control equipment.
Maintain and monitor servo motors, drives, encoders, actuators, and related automation components.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective corrective actions to minimize production interruptions.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop sustainable solutions for recurring equipment failures.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Actively participate in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support installation, commissioning, testing, and startup activities for new robotic cells and automation equipment.
Assist in manufacturing technology upgrades and automation enhancement projects.
Ensure all automation systems operate safely and efficiently during production ramp-up activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, equipment history, and technical documentation.
Ensure strict adherence to EHS policies, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and machine safety standards.
Support compliance with company policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience with industrial robotic systems such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, or equivalent platforms.
Working knowledge of robotic welding applications including MIG, TIG, Spot Welding, and Material Handling Automation.
Familiarity with robotic teach pendant operation, robot diagnostics, and program adjustment.
Practical experience in troubleshooting Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider PLCs.
Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems for equipment monitoring and diagnostics.
Understanding of industrial communication networks including: Profinet Ethernet/IP DeviceNet Profibus Modbus

Sound knowledge of servo systems, drives, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation schematics.
Exposure to machine vision systems and industrial sensors will be an added advantage.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability with the capacity to perform effectively in high-speed, high-pressure production environments.
High attention to detail with a focus on precision, accuracy, and quality in every task.
Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and respond swiftly to urgent breakdown situations.
Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Unwavering commitment to safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Robotics Engineering.
3–6 years of experience in robotics maintenance within manufacturing hardware industries such as automotive components, heavy equipment, or metal fabrication.
