Position
The position is Technical Engineer – Pipeline & Infrastructure Inspection in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate pipeline, sewer, and drainage CCTV inspection works.
- Plan and monitor pipe inspection activities for infrastructure and utility projects.
- Operate, supervise, or coordinate CCTV pipeline inspection systems, including IBAK or similar systems.
- Review CCTV footage for defects, blockages, structural issues, infiltration, and other abnormalities.
- Prepare technical inspection, condition assessment, and daily or weekly progress reports.
- Read and interpret infrastructure, drainage, and underground pipeline drawings.
- Coordinate with site teams, CCTV operators, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Assist with condition assessment and recommendations for repair, rehabilitation, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, HSE procedures, Qatar requirements, and engineering standards.
- Monitor equipment calibration, maintenance, and operation of CCTV inspection systems.
- Support documentation, measurements, technical submissions, and client inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant pipeline inspection, infrastructure, drainage, or sewer project experience.
- Strong CCTV pipeline or sewer inspection experience is highly preferred.
