Technical Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Review civil, structural, architectural, and infrastructure drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and review submittals, method statements, material approvals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support construction and site teams with technical guidance.
• Monitor construction compliance with approved designs, standards, and project requirements.
• Review quantities, measurements, BOQs, and variations where required.
• Assist with project planning, progress monitoring, and technical reporting.
• Conduct site inspections and verify completed works.
• Maintain technical records and participate in project meetings.
• Support quality control, HSE compliance, as-built drawings, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in civil construction, infrastructure, building, or related projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Ability to read and review engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, MS Project, Primavera P6, or other engineering software is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional engineering certification or local authority approval is advantageous.

Pay

• The advertised pay is AED 7,000 to AED 10,000 per month.

• The work location is in person.
