Role Overview

The role is for a Technical Engineer supporting interior design and fit-out projects.

The engineer will translate design concepts into technical drawings, detailed plans, and on-site execution.

Projects include commercial, retail, luxury residential, and hospitality spaces.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.
Develop joinery, furniture, and material specifications.
Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, and site teams.
Ensure designs comply with technical standards, building codes, and client requirements.
Provide technical support during fit-out and execution phases.
Review shop drawings and work with contractors and suppliers.
Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and provide solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Technical Engineer in interior design, fit-out, or construction.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent technical software.
Strong understanding of materials, joinery, finishes, and construction methods.
Knowledge of building codes, standards, and fit-out regulations.
Ability to coordinate with designers, clients, and contractors.
Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
