Company Description
Neospace Interiors is headquartered in Dubai and provides end-to-end interior design and fit-out solutions for offices, villas, retail spaces, and hotels.
The company manages concept design, engineering, project management, MEP coordination, and final handovers through an in-house team.
Technical Drawing and Documentation
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, shop drawings, approval drawings, and technical details for interior fit-out projects.
- Develop detailed joinery, millwork, ceiling, partition, flooring, wall finish, and custom furniture drawings.
- Produce architecture, interior design, and MEP coordination site drawings as required.
- Maintain drawing packages across concept, design development, tender, construction, and as-built stages.
- Ensure drawings reflect design intent, technical requirements, and project specifications.
- Apply CAD standards, templates, layering systems, document control procedures, and QA/QC checks.
Coordination and Project Support
- Coordinate drawing production with the Senior Technical Designer, Project Manager, site engineers, MEP consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Incorporate design revisions, redline markups, consultant comments, and site feedback into drawings.
- Participate in technical coordination meetings when required.
- Identify and resolve drawing clashes and coordination issues before construction.
- Provide technical drawing clarifications to site teams during project execution.
Site Surveys and As-Built Documentation
- Conduct site measurements and verify site conditions when required.
- Prepare and update as-built drawings to reflect actual site installations and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions arising from site conditions.
Authority and Compliance Support
- Ensure drawings comply with UAE local authority requirements and industry standards.
- Assist with submissions to Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, Civil Defense, Abu Dhabi Municipality, and other relevant authorities.
- Incorporate authority review comments into drawing revisions.
- Upload drawings and assist with authority approval portals and submission processes.
Quantity Take-Off and Procurement
- Assist quantity surveying and procurement teams with drawing-based quantity take-offs and material verification.
- Support material procurement by providing detailed technical drawings and specifications.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, drafting, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Two to five years of authority approval drafting and authority portal submission experience in UAE interior fit-out projects.
- Experience producing shop drawings and construction drawings for commercial, retail, hospitality, residential, and workplace fit-outs.
- Experience in joinery detailing is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and basic Microsoft tools.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out construction methods and detailing.
- Knowledge of MEP coordination requirements.
- Ability to convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Understanding of drawing standards, layering conventions, revision control, and QA/QC procedures.
