Technical Director - Structural Engineering Team Lead

Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with ideally 20+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably within a consultancy environment.

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia, or equivalent professional registration.

Extensive experience delivering complex structural engineering projects, with strong knowledge of Australian codes, standards and design practices.

Proven experience providing technical leadership, undertaking design and technical reviews, and leading multi-disciplinary project teams.

Experience acting as a Project Director or in a similar senior project leadership role, with strong project and commercial management skills.

Strong client-facing and communication skills, with a track record of building relationships, contributing to proposals and securing new work.

Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and developing structural engineers and future leaders.

Strong working knowledge of industry-standard structural engineering software, such as SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT and Strand7.
