Technical Director

We're seeking a versatile Technical Director to lead our production technologies, drive innovation, and oversee the technical aspects of our projects. You'll be responsible for managing content production using real-time engines and AI tools, immersive experience development, and virtual production pipelines. You have both the imagination and drive to explore new approaches, as well as the experience and judgment to implement production-grade solutions.

Lead and mentor a team of technical artists and developers across CGI, virtual production, and immersive experience projects

Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and project managers to ensure technical feasibility and set project timelines

Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and educate clients on technical possibilities and limitations

Lead the design and implementation of interactive and immersive experiences using game engines, web technologies, and sensor-based inputs

Provide technical leadership for cutting-edge capture technologies including volumetric capture and motion capture

Oversee 3D content loading and testing for film/TV virtual production shoots with our team of experienced LED stage technicians and Disguise operators

Develop and maintain documentation for workflows and best practices while establishing internal standards

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time during productions and coordinate post-production deliverables

5-10+ years of proven experience leading technical teams and productions

Comfortable with the unknown - you like solving difficult problems and pulling off first-of-its-kind executions with emerging technologies
