Role overview
Gensler is seeking a Technical Designer for its Workplace team in Mumbai, India.
The role supports workplace projects and combines technical design delivery, creative problem solving, client presentation, and team collaboration.
The position is full-time.
What you will do
- Lead cohesive and rational design solutions that meet project briefs and remain technically, legally, and financially responsible.
- Guide design alignment with local and national codes and support junior designer development.
- Solve complex problems through schematic design and design development.
- Oversee presentation graphics, design development packages, and production documentation.
- Research systems, materials, and finishes and present design schemes to clients.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure design intent is accurately interpreted in documents.
- Develop strategic plans, concepts, design development, construction documents, and space planning concepts.
- Support material palette selection, specifications, client presentations, business development, research, and office learning activities.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
- Three to seven years of project experience.
