Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Technical & Design Engineer with experience in structural steel fabrication and Pre-Engineered Building projects.
The role supports engineering drawings, structural calculations, bills of quantities, and coordination across design, production, procurement, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shop, fabrication, general arrangement, and erection drawings.
- Perform structural steel design and engineering calculations.
- Prepare bills of quantities, material take-offs, and technical submittals.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and site teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and industry codes.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and erection.
- Implement consultant and client comments and revise drawings accordingly.
- Resolve technical issues related to structural steel and PEB projects.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and project records.
Requirements
- Experience in structural steel fabrication and Pre-Engineered Building projects.
- Ability to prepare engineering drawings, structural calculations, bills of quantities, and coordinate with design, production, and site teams.
