Technical Design Director - Civil Engineering

Job Description

Civil and Infrastructure Leadership

• Lead and oversee the comprehensive civil engineering design strategy, technical reviews, and infrastructure assurance.
• Provide oversight across basement parking, podium slabs, mid-rise office blocks, and structural steel canopies.

Consultant and Stakeholder Management

• Manage lead design consultants and specialist civil or geotechnical sub-consultants.
• Ensure design packages match budget, timeline, and quality parameters.
• Act as the primary technical liaison to senior MOD clients and municipal or local authorities.

Multidisciplinary Integration

• Coordinate civil, structural, geotechnical, MEP, and specialized security or defense infrastructure disciplines.
• Eliminate design bottlenecks and spatial or utility clashes.

Quality and Code Assurance

• Conduct buildability and value engineering reviews for heavy civil works, drainage, roads, and structural interfaces.
• Ensure designs strictly adhere to Saudi Building Codes and applicable civil defense requirements.

Role Requirements

• Technical design leadership experience in heavy civil infrastructure engineering and site development.
• Ability to integrate civil, structural, geotechnical, MEP, and specialized security or defense infrastructure designs.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Codes and applicable civil defense requirements.
