Role overview

The Technical Consultant L1 role provides technical expertise for client transformation, enhancement, problem-solving, and delivery projects.

The role focuses on SAP technical workstreams across implementation, conversion, development, enhancement, and support engagements.

Technical delivery

  • Work independently as an expert in an SAP technical workstream.
  • Create high-level and detailed designs and develop technical and integration solutions.
  • Understand client business needs and processes.
  • Participate in technical and technology workshops.
  • Define integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide end-user training and support.
  • Write technical specifications and test plans.
  • Manage projects, timelines, delivery support, and escalations.
  • Drive innovation and transformation in large existing accounts.
  • Interact with SAP and third-party partners.

Mandatory qualifications

  • Five to eight years of experience.
  • Mandatory skill: SAP ABAP HANA.
  • Ability to work independently as an expert in an SAP technical workstream.
  • Ability to translate client integration requirements into technical solutions.

Performance expectations

  • Maintain current knowledge and develop cross-skills in the relevant SAP technical module.
  • Meet customer satisfaction expectations defined by client service-level agreements.
  • Initiate and adapt to changes and move effectively between projects.
  • Accomplish assignments through delegation and effective coordination where applicable.
  • Respond courteously to external customers, internal staff, and teammates.
