Technical Consultant

• Migrate customer data from legacy/source systems onto our platform, including writing and troubleshooting custom scripts where needed
• Write and run SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate customer data
• Stand up and configure new customer systems/environments as part of implementation
• Migrate databases to our Azure cloud platform
• Communicate directly with customers on requirements, timelines, and expectations
• Work with Project Managers and Implementation teams to flag risks and keep delivery on track
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, tools, and migration methodologies
• Keep activity reports and project documentation up to date within agreed SLAs
• Follow company security policies - protecting customer data and reporting any issues
• 1–3 years of relevant technical consulting or data engineering experience preferred
• Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL (ideally Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL - stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes)
• Basic knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and tools like Postman
• Basic knowledge of IIS
• Comfortable communicating with customers on technical requirements
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
• Experience with an ETL toolset (e.g. SSIS)
• Experience with other RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
• Experience with BI Tools (PowerBI, Sigma, Izenda)
• Familiarity with EDI/integration platforms (e.g. Boomi)
• Advanced Excel/data manipulation skills
