Role Description
Properta.ai is looking for a Technical Co-Founder to join the founding team and lead the end-to-end technical vision, architecture, and development of the platform.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The opportunity includes up to a 10% equity stake, depending on experience, commitment, contribution, technical leadership, and long-term alignment.
Equity will be subject to vesting, milestones, and formal legal agreement.
The Technical Co-Founder will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling the core platform, including data pipelines, third-party integrations, APIs, analytics engines, dashboards, and user-facing product features.
This role requires someone who can think and act like a founder, not only as a developer.
The right person should be comfortable operating in an early-stage environment, making technical decisions with limited resources, validating assumptions quickly, and helping shape the company from zero to one.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and product implementation of Properta.ai
- Design and build scalable data pipelines for real estate, financial, and market data
- Integrate with third-party data sources, APIs, and external platforms
- Develop core platform features across the stack, including APIs, data models, dashboards, analytics tools, and reporting layers
- Build secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-based infrastructure
- Work closely with the founder on product discovery, roadmap planning, and product-market fit validation
- Translate customer, agent, investor, and market feedback into product improvements
- Support demos, technical discussions, and investor conversations when required
- Establish engineering standards, documentation practices, and development processes
- Hire, manage, and mentor early engineering talent as the company grows
- Evaluate and select the right technology stack, tools, vendors, and architecture patterns
- Drive experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous product improvement
Qualifications
- Significant hands-on engineering experience in full-stack development, data engineering, AI/ML, analytics, or SaaS platforms
- Proven ability to build and ship products from zero to one
- Strong understanding of scalable system architecture, APIs, databases, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Strong analytical skills, including data modelling, scenario analysis, and turning complex datasets into actionable insights
- Experience working with data-intensive platforms, SaaS products, fintech, proptech, marketplace platforms, or analytics tools
- Ability to evaluate technologies, data sources, vendors, and architectural approaches
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working with commercial, sales, and product functions to support demos, client requirements, and user feedback
- Understanding of how product features, dashboards, data visualizations, and platform capabilities support go-to-market and growth
- Ability to work in an early-stage startup environment with speed, ownership, and flexibility
- Founder mindset, strong accountability, and long-term commitment
Preferred Experience
- Experience in PropTech, real estate data, fintech, investment analytics, or market intelligence platforms
- Experience with AI-powered products, LLMs, agentic workflows, recommendation engines, or decision-support platforms
- Experience with regulatory, government, or verified data sources
- Experience building dashboards, valuation models, ROI calculators, forecasting tools, or reporting engines
- Previous startup, co-founder, or early technical leadership experience
Compensation & Equity
This is an equity-based co-founder opportunity.
The role includes up to a 10% equity stake, subject to experience, contribution, commitment level, milestones, vesting schedule, and formal agreement.
